It’s clear that our young adults, free runners and more senior gymnasts are already an inspiration to club members, but our Leadership Academy offers these boys and girls the opportunity to take the next step.
They play a pivotal role in transforming the future of WGC by passing on their knowledge and experience and assisting our coaching staff with the day to day running of the club.
They’re involved in all aspects of developing the club from mentoring gymnasts to helping at events while still improving their individual skills. Not only does this offer them valuable work experience and a career route but it instils a sense of responsibility, emotional maturity and teamwork.
All of these are beneficial attributes to themselves, the club and the Worthing community but as well as building essential life skills they can take forward into adulthood we offer the opportunity to acquire coaching qualifications.
