It’s been a brilliant weekend for British Gymnastics at the European Championships in Szczecin, Poland, where the team took home four medals!
The championships started superbly with four women and nine men sealing final spots after qualifying.
In the finals, Max Whitlock kicked off the party and once again provided a pommel horse masterclass to take the European title while Ellie Downie won a brilliant bronze on vault.
Ellie demonstrated her immense talent once again but this time in the all-around gymnastics category across four apparatus and took to the medal podium with silver.
And finally, but well worth the wait, Alice Kinsella made history by winning Britain’s first ever European beam gold on the last day of the 2019 European Championships.
How about that for some inspiration and Monday Motivation!
